LEAH AND SADIE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE

 Learn how to make these cool cookies, that we sold on the street and got a lot of money from!

We hope you enjoy them1



DIRECTIONS:

1.
Preheat the oven to 325º F (165º C). Ask a grown-up to help you with this. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.


2.
Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.



3.
In a medium bowl cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. 


4.
Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. 


5.
Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough a small handful at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 2" apart.


 
6.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
